Job Description

Drivers required to work for a local Pallet Network distributor in Peterborough on an ONGOING contract. IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE. You will be driving HGV, LGV, Class1, C+E Vehicles. Running out from the Operating Centre just on the outskirts of Peterborough; your duties will include 1 drop to a main Hub; either Fradley in Litchfield or Greenford in London then re-load and return to Peterborough. When experienced, a 2nd run may be required.

Candidate Specification

Must hold a valid HGV, LGV, Class 1, C+E Licence with no more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes. Must hold a valid DQC and digi-tacho card. Must be prepared to work Monday to Friday night inclusive. Loyalty will be rewarded with ONGOING regular work EVERY WEEK.

Qualifications & Experience

• HGV
• LGV
• Class 1
• C+E Licence
• DQC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card

• Aged 23 years or over for insurance purposes
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes
• Limited Company drivers must produce; valid Public Liability Insurance Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation with Companies House and copy of Company Bank Account details

Rate of Pay / Salary

Basic week to be Monday to Friday nights
£12 per hour flat rate
11-12 hours per night on single run
12-14 hours per night on double run
Double Decker experience preferred but not essential
Shift Start times vary between 1800-1900 Night Shifts
